As we all know Facebook owner Mark Zuckerburg has announced the new name of
the firm which is the parent company of Facebook, Whatsapp, Insta, Messenger,
and many more. Today Facebook has become the giant social media platform that
is offering a lot to its users for free. Like the services of Facebook include
Facebook Business Managers, Facebook Advertising, Facebook Post, pages,
Groups, Shops, Events and a lot more.
Now the Facebook company has a new idea to bring people closer and closer,
they are introducing the concept of VR which means Virtual Reality. And if you
don't know what VR means then maybe you are missing an amazing form of
multimedia. By using virtual reality, you can walk and interact with things
like you do in the real world. But this world is only virtual nothing can be
touched in reality.
Why the Facebook Choose the META name?
The owner of Facebook Parent Company is working on a different and
next-generation concept which is Metaverse. And what does this mean to us?
Metaverse is a combination of different components that will be combined
together to form a world without any GOD. You can do whatever you want, make
rules for living, can change climates, go to any place in just 1 click, can
play games like real life, and much more activities that actually resemble
reality.
Facebook will use VR (Virtual Reality)
VR is a technique in which a user wears a sort of digital glasses. These
glasses are operated on the basis of sensors and gravity accelerometers. When
the user moves, the VR Glasses know the position of the head and change the
display within the glasses according to head movements.
VR Glasses are the main reason for the name META. Facebook will use mixed
reality and some sort of VR technologies to bring all the world closer in one
place. Today VR glasses are used in games and live movies but Facebook has a
plan to put this thing to the next level where you will be able to talk and
meet a person as if they are in front of you.
